Terms of Use

1. Who we are

The Last Lexicon (the "game") is published by Adaptive Digital Studio LLC, a Texas limited liability company, under its games label Wordbound Games ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Adaptive Digital Studio LLC. By downloading or playing the game you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't play. If you're under the age of majority where you live, please read these terms with a parent or guardian.

2. Your licence to play

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and play the game for your own non-commercial use, on devices you own or control, as allowed by the rules of the store you got it from. We keep all other rights. You may not:

• copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the game or any part of it (including its art, music, voices and text);
• reverse engineer, decompile or modify the game, except where the law allows it despite this restriction; or
• use the game, or anything in it, in a way that breaks the law or infringes anyone's rights.

You're welcome to share screenshots and video of your own play for non-commercial purposes, such as reviews, streams and fan posts.

3. The Full Book

Realms I and II (the first 40 stages) are free. The Full Book is a single, one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that unlocks Realms III to X, the Epilogue and the Arena.

• It's sold and processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). The price is shown in the store before you buy, in your local currency.
• It belongs to the Apple Account or Google account you bought it with. You can unlock it on your other devices signed in to that account, as the store's rules allow, by tapping Restore Purchase in the game. See how to restore.
• Purchases can't be moved between the App Store and Google Play.
• There are no subscriptions, no ads and no loot boxes. Coins and Lamp Shards in the game are earned by playing, have no cash value and can't be bought, sold or exchanged for money.

4. Refunds

Because Apple and Google process all payments, refund requests are handled by them under their own policies: Apple refunds and Google Play refunds. Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

5. Store terms

If you download the game from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies to your use of the game. If you download it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. If those terms and these conflict about your use of the game, the store's terms win to the extent of the conflict.

6. Updates and changes

We may update the game to fix problems, improve it or change content. We'll try hard not to take away anything you've paid for. We may change these terms; if we do, we'll update the effective date above, and the new terms apply from then on. Continuing to play means you accept the updated terms.

7. Privacy

The game collects no personal data. Our Privacy Policy explains the details.

8. Disclaimer and limits on liability

We work hard to make the game good and reliable, but to the extent the law allows, it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, and we don't promise it will be free of errors or run on every device. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim about the game is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This doesn't take away any protection you have under the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
